Melodic Randomiser: Isolation Radio, day twenty nine.

As we enter week five of the Isolation Radio show, the sun is still shining, the birds are still singing and the Melodic Randomiser is still churning out some banging tunes, the first of which is by The Smiths.

This track is from the essential Hatful of Hollow album, from a 1983 John Peel session, this is “Handsome Devil”

Next up, a song I originally discovered on a free NME cassette compilation, back in 1988, this is the fabulous Ghost Dance and “Grip of Love”, from the Gathering Dust album.

And we’re finishing off today with a stone cold, solid gold, broke the mould perfect pop classic from ex-Eagle, Don Henley, here’s 1984’s sublime “Boys of Summer”

And with that, I’m outta here, be good to each other and I’ll see y’all tomorrow.

Peace
