The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

This week’s prompt on The Cosmic Photo Challenge asked you to get out amongst the greenery and show us what it’s like in; My green world.

I took a short drive into the countryside just outside Barnstaple, to capture some of the newly lush landscape around Westacott and in the hills above Goodleigh.

I look forward to seeing what delights you have to unveil to us this week…

Sunday mix.

I’m proud to present two more eclectic selections from my new musical output for your Sunday evening listening pleasure.

First a funky little number called Brass Monkey Business, featuring the warm and organic sounds of horns and guitars…

…contrasting nicely with this bouncy slab of techno, going by the name of Biometrik

Hope you enjoy those, sorry if you’ve been waiting since last weekend, I completely forgot.

As a bonus, I shall be uploading another new tune tomorrow, promise…

Cosmic Photo prompt.

For this week’s prompt on The Cosmic Photo Challenge I’m keeping it nice and simple; My green world.

Spring is now finally here, (in the UK, anyway, with the usual apologies to readers in the southern hemisphere) so I’d like to see how your local landscapes have been transformed by the accelerated growth of all things green and verdant.

The trees are bursting into leaf, the flowers are unfurling and colours are returning to the world, (although as I write this there are dark clouds rolling overhead and the first spots of rain are falling, in accordance with the CosPhoChal weather jinx) so get out there and document it for the big show and tell on Monday.

Have a great weekend, see you on the other side.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

I set the theme for The Cosmic Photo Challenge on Saturday, hoping the weather would still be playing ball on Sunday evening, because the prompt was; At the end of the day.

Lucky for me it was a beautiful weekend, so my trip to Instow beach yesterday turned out to be just in time to catch the start of an almost perfect sunset.

I also captured some more star trails last night, which I thought I’d include as a bonus photo, despite the two and a half hour exposure technically just overrunning into this morning.

What did you see that was worth shooting this week, don’t be shy, let’s all have a look…

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Hello, hope your Saturday is going well, here’s your prompt for The Cosmic Photo Challenge, late as usual.

Since we had a location-specific theme last week, today I’m giving you more temporally based inspiration, asking that your images are captured; At the end of the day.

I don’t think that requires much additional explanation, so I’ll leave you to it.

See y’all on Monday, have a great weekend.

Friday mix double header.

With another unplanned week off work as corona-furlough strikes again, I’ve been sitting in my garden studio (oh, alright, in a comfortable chair with my phone) adding to my rapidly expanding music catalogue.

First there’s this chilled out cinematic epic, once again produced from scratch with two completely separate, bespoke pieces of music, which I then mixed together on my DJ app…

…and here is the accompanying, multilayered video I created for it:

After which I was inspired by the warmth of the sunshine to make this rather infectious, (in a good way) Latin-tinged, rhythmic electro number…

…with more optical gymnastics to go with it:

More to come tomorrow, watch this space.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

On this week’s adventure in inspired imagery with The Cosmic Photo Challenge, I asked you to capture your photos; In the big wide open spaces.

There isn’t anywhere round here which meets that description better than Exmoor National Park, so I took a drive up to the hills around Simonsbath and enjoyed the peace and quiet in glorious sunshine.

I even filmed another little video tour for you.

Did the weather look kindly upon your corner of the world this week? Come on, let’s have a look at what you found…
