On this week’s adventure in inspired imagery with The Cosmic Photo Challenge, I asked you to capture your photos; In the big wide open spaces.
There isn’t anywhere round here which meets that description better than Exmoor National Park, so I took a drive up to the hills around Simonsbath and enjoyed the peace and quiet in glorious sunshine.
I even filmed another little video tour for you.

The Exmoor National Park is beautiful. The photo of taken close to the road made me think that a good way to get the effect of a large open space is to take the photo close to a flat surface (like a road). I especially liked the photo of the tree, fence/gate and yellow/orange field just above the photo taken close to the road.

The monochrome with the two gates is the stand out for me. I went back to the Saskatchewan prairies. Much more wide open than anything in this part of Ontario:
