Today’s creative inspiration for The Cosmic Photo Challenge was a simple theme, allowing you as much aesthetic scope as you liked to make; Art for art’s sake.
I went with one abstract image, made using photos of a wind chime and a peculiar mix of surrealism and pop art which began with an idea for a Hamlet-esque Yorick pose and ended up as something else entirely.
Where did the artistic muse lead you at the weekend, I’d love to see your results…

I like the colors in the wind chime and the smiling variation on Hamlet. I don’t think I even remember the plot of that play anymore, but I do associate it with the image of someone holding a skull. So it all fits.

Alas, poor Dale! I love what you did there. Like Traudel at geriatri’x I didn’t quite know where my playing around would lead me. https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2021/03/29/art-for-vincents-sake/

The first image of the wind chimes for me. I went with a selection of photos featuring snow from last winter:

What a great post! That’s what I like about this, you don’t know what will be the outcome, when you start creating sth. I like your last two pictures a lot.
Here is what I created: https://geriatrixfotogallerie.wordpress.com/2021/03/29/sculptures-of-miguel-horn/

I always hoped The Cosmic Photo Challenge would encourage people to discover new creative processes, so as far as I’m concerned that’s mission accomplished. ;~}
