“Brazen” – The state of serene equilibrium acquired from wearing correctly fitting lingerie.

Hi there, welcome to Monday and also to The Cosmic Photo Challenge, which this week is all about what happens when you; Drain the colours.
I chose to showcase the *lack of* beautiful colours of some of the flowers in the garden.
But before that…
…I have been posting my challenge photos on Photo Sans Frontieres on Facebook, where I have recently encouraged group members to get involved. Well I am happy to say that this week I can include a fabulous shot of a cast-off dragonfly skin (known as the exuvia) from new member, Clive Wilson.

Now let’s see your monochromatic offerings…

Hello all, I hope your Saturday has been pleasant so far, even if the temperature has dropped somewhat overnight like it has here.
For this week’s theme on The Cosmic Photo Challenge I would like you to capture the brightest, most vivid subjects you can find and then; Drain the colours.
That’s right, strange as it may seem, I want to see some colour in black and white. Convert those hues and pigments into shades of grey and let’s see what creative ideas you come up with.
I’ll leave it up to you to interpret the fine details, enjoy the rest of the weekend and I look forward to seeing the results on Monday.

It was a very fortuitous theme I picked for The Cosmic Photo Challenge this week, since the only place the temperature was bearable over the weekend was; In the trees.
I took Audrey down to Rock Park to meet her friends yesterday morning, taking the opportunity to capture some greenery at the same time as enjoying the much-needed shade. (The somewhat vertiginous effect of a few shots is due to the use of a wide angle lens)

Now let’s see what arboreal delights you found for us to marvel at…

Just about made it for a Friday prompt on The Cosmic Photo Challenge and it looks like it’s going to be a nice weekend, so for this week’s theme I’ll see you; In the trees.
Let’s all (safely) get out in the sunshine and capture the best nature has to offer in the leaf and branch department, then meet back here on Monday to compare photographic notes, ok?

For today’s entry in the alternative dictionary, I’m going down the blindingly obvious route for a change, with a very simple word;
“Purview” – Through a cat’s eye.

Full disclosure – I have an ulterior motive for setting the prompt on The Cosmic Photo Challenge this week, which nevertheless is simple enough; Reflections.
I know we’ve had a variation on this theme more than once before, but I’m confident there’s still plenty of scope for your creative energies to flow freely and provide us with some stunning photos for Monday’s post.
Have a great weekend and I’ll see you back here to curate and compare your photographic offerings.

I’m delighted to inform you today marks the continuation of my musical publishing adventure, with the release of my second full length collection of original material, Sonic Cosmos.
The seven track album was composed, produced and mixed from scratch, using my Remixlive and edjing apps and includes custom-made artwork for each tune (which may also be purchased individually) in addition to the main cover shown above.
This time around there’s a varied selection; ranging from throbbing techno and retro synthwave, to chilled electronica and jangling guitars, all of which you can listen to via the embedded player below, where you may also buy any of the tunes which take your fancy.
Thank you to anyone who has already supported my creative endeavours by purchasing my eclectic (and very reasonably priced) audio output, I hope you all enjoy my latest offering.

Good morn-ternoo-vening to you, wherever you may be and welcome to The Cosmic Photo Challenge for this Monday, themed around the prompt; From an unusual angle.
My initial photos were of creepy crawlies in the garden and some nice raindrops on roses (one of Julie Andrews’ favourite things, apparently) until the distorting effect of the glass in kitchen door caught my eye.
I took several shots of myself from various angles without, and I would like to stress this, without pulling any silly faces at all. The results are, nonetheless, troubling…

What interesting perspective did you bring to the challenge this week? Let us see your personal spin on the prompt, it couldn’t be easier…

For your inspiration on The Cosmic Photo Challenge this week, I’m returning to a prompt which led to some interesting results on previous occasions; From an unusual angle.
Which means the world is your proverbial bivalve mollusc, providing said mollusc is viewed from a surprising perspective of course.
Enjoy your weekend and good luck with finding new ways to look at life, see you on Monday.
