This week’s misspelled alternative definition is another one of those Brit-centric words which may not be familiar across the pond (or elsewhere, for that matter) so I have included a further translation to clarify;

Today’s foray into photographic fun takes The Cosmic Photo Challenge into the dark, as I asked you to take your photos; At night.
I admit I had one picture of an impressive “ice halo” around the moon in reserve, (in case the weather didn’t cooperate) but I did also manage to capture a few images of the night sky, both with and without clouds.
These were all taken in almost total darkness, but with thirty second exposures, so the light from neighbouring houses is somewhat exaggerated.

It’s a theme I like to repeat on a semi-regular basis, as I love to see things in a way that reveals the previously unseen.

I went with the literal interpretation and all my photos are taken from mere inches above the ground.
A reflection of trees in a puddle, an obliging skateboarder doing tricks for me in the town’s pannier market and a couple of low down shots of the old streets around church square make up my vertically-challenged offerings.
