For this week’s Cosmic Photo Challenge I asked you to downsize, by giving you the prompt; On a small scale.
I decided to go on a miniature safari in the garden, finding a bumble bee on the bugle flowers, along with a snail and a spider lying in wait in the shed. I also built a new hedgehog house in the back corner of the border, which I think qualifies as a small scale log cabin.

Let’s see what details you managed to uncover over the weekend, it’s easy when you know how…

Very nice photos of that snail and also the spider. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a snail before and I assume that is the correct name for it.

Thanks, Frank…Wait, what..?…you’ve never seen a snail before? Wow, I kind of assumed they were universal, I guess.

Uhhhh – so many creepy crawlies! I’m tempted to link more than one entry for this one. Here is the proper Cosmic entry: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2021/05/10/its-a-jungle-out-there/
And here are a few from the last couple of weeks:https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2021/05/05/for-real-fun-with-real-fakes/https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2021/05/04/real-vs-fake-cffc/https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2021/05/04/123-fire/https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2021/05/01/new-coat-of-paint-anyone/https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2021/04/30/the-secret-life-on-my-window-sill/

The horizontal version of the spider is suitably creepy. I went with tree trunk details spotted on a walk yesterday morning:
