Hi there, I hope all your weekends went well and that you’re ready for another edition of The Cosmic Photo Challenge, this week brought to you by the prompt; Shades of grey.
I wasn’t able to get out and take photos this week, because of the increasingly crippling back pain I’ve been experiencing since Friday, so I had to make do with a few monochromatic images from the archives.
Here are a couple of black and white sunsets over Barnstaple, a picture postcard cottage near Bideford and Damien Hirst’s spectacular statue, Verity, on Ilfracombe harbour.
Now it’s your turn to cast some shade on proceedings, so let’s see whatcha got…

To get involved with the challenge; check out the Cosmic Photo Prompt each Friday, then post a photo (or photos) on your blog the following Monday, with a pingback link to my Monday post.
Tag your posts with #CosPhoChal.
Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages, animation, gifs, or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.
Good photos, the lighting is great in the first picture. That building is lovely, I used to watch Emmerdale a lot ☺️ And the last picture is very cool.

I especially liked that gray stone building. I wonder what it would be like to live in such a house.

It’s a very picturesque little village, full of quaint cottages like that.

I went off on a tangent after thinking about the prompt. A review of my monochrome images from 2020:
