Hello and welcome to another Monday edition of The Cosmic Photo Challenge, for which I asked you to provide your own inspiration with the prompt; Snappers’ choice.
My initial plan was to see what Christmas baubles might look like with some of my recent shots in, like this…
…which is very lovely of course, but because I’m me, that idea soon morphed into this…
After which, I got rather…involved, shall we say, resulting in this surreal little animated spectacular.
What did you choose to showcase for us this week, let’s have a look, I’m intrigued…

I came, I saw, I snapped: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2020/12/14/gnomes-not-elves-for-christmas/
Very traditional compared to your Audrey II kind of way if you know what I mean.

I liked the last one where the ornament was eating all those blinking ornaments on the tree. Very unusual since it is one of the ornaments.

I wrote a long comment that WordPress just lost.
To sum up. Cheesy 1950s sci-fi films. The large central eye could have been the unblinking eye of Sauron.

Hahaha, I’ll take that as a compliment, thanks.

I was thinking of some of the aliens/monsters in those cheesy sci-fi films from the 1950s. An animated Christmas tree with eyes is possibly a bit sophisticated for some of them.
