Happy Monday, y’all, welcome to a hue-heavy edition of The Cosmic Photo Challenge, I hope you are suitably rested for the week ahead and enjoyed your time off.
But before the tedious business of work gets in the way again, let’s get to the important stuff
With barely a break in the grim and miserable weather at the weekend, I had to rely on a few shots I took on last week’s walk, reedited to fit the prompt; A splash of colour.
What coloured your world this week? Time to show us whatcha got…

To get involved with the challenge; check out the Cosmic Photo Prompt each Friday, then post a photo (or photos) on your blog the following Monday, with a pingback link to my Monday post.

Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages, animation, gifs, or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Although I don’t know how to do them, I like the effects of your photographs that are partially black and white and partially color. It adds an unexpected contrast with that splash of color.

Thanks, Frank. I just lay a black and white version over the colour one and then carefully erase parts of the top one.

I like your reflections, particularly the first one. It’s like escaping from a dreary real world into a colourful dream world. I went for a natural splash ( the top left photos are the original colours).

In the end I went with straight photos rather than editing:
