One more week into the start of our “new normal” and one more entry in the annuls of The Cosmic Photo Challenge, this edition being directed by the suggestion that your submissions should feature; Shades of grey.
I have chosen a selection of photos from in and around Barnstaple, some of which are original and some I have edited for monochromatic effect, including one composite image from a few years ago.
Now let’s see how you were inspired by the prompt over the weekend, it couldn’t be easier to take part…
*****
To get involved with the challenge; check out the Cosmic Photo Prompt each Friday, then post a photo (or photos) on your blog the following Monday, with a pingback link to my Monday post.
Tag your posts with #CosPhoChal.
Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages, animation, gifs, or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.
I especially liked the darkness of the covered walkway focusing on a tiny scene at the center where the walkway ended.

That’s along the side of Barnstaple library, with a view of Castle Mound through the open arches on the left.

The arcade looks wonderful in grey with the different shades but that collage looks downright scary!! I like all of them!
