For this week’s theme on The Cosmic Photo Challenge, I asked you to go small, with the prompt; Macro.
This was mainly because I wanted to try out the closeup abilities of the improved camera on my new phone, so I just used the first small, interesting objects I found in the living room.
These happened to be in a jar of shells and interesting stones which have been collected over the years, including some pyrite and a petoskey stone Audrey brought from Michigan.
Now let’s have a look at your small objects of desire.

My phone camera is s… substandard. 🙂 But that’s okay because I don’t like the way you have to hold a phone when taking photos. It just doesn’t feel comfortable. But well done, I particulary like the last shot. I took one macro and played around with it: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2020/03/16/hellebore-up-close/

I especially liked all the crystals in those stones.
I only use a phone as well. What I don’t like about my phone is that when I try to focus on an object up close like a spider it goes out of focus very easily if the wind moves it or my hand isn’t steady. Perhaps that’s the same for real cameras, but I don’t think I’d have the patience to learn how to use one of those.

I have object tracking on mine, to keep it in focus, but it does help to have a close background.
