One liner Wednesday: Alternative dictionary.

For today’s exercise in phonetic pedantry, our entry in the alternative dictionary stops just short of obscenity;

“Focussing” – The kind of restrained not-really-swearing employed in polite company (drat, dagnabbit, darn, fiddlesticks, etc)

  1. I was about to say something about spelling until I read John’s response. It hadn’t occurred to me that some words would be spelled slightly differently in the UK. Good one.
