Welcome to this, the first ever reader-powered edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, with today’s post provided by Eklastic and Frank Hubeny, combining photography and poetry on the theme of; Misty memories.
Here are my photographic illustrations of that prompt…
…and here is my poem:
A long time ago when I was a kid
We had a cat called Misty, I’m sure that we did.
He was a big Russian Blue the colour of fog,
But to be perfectly honest, I much prefer dogs.
You can see K’lee getting all poetical HERE.
Now it’s your turn to show us you’re not adverse to a verse or two.

To get involved with the challenge, post a photo to your blog on Monday, (or just, you know, whenever) add a pingback to this post (or to K’lee’s) and don’t forget to tag your post #CosPhoChal.
Alternatively, add a link to your blog in the comments of either mine or K’lee’s post and we’ll come and check out your entry.
Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Very nice poem about Misty and your preference for dogs. I like the mist over the rolling fields in the photos, but especially the second one with the sharp plants in the foreground contrasting with the mist in the background.

Thanks, I used to get some lovely views of the countryside when I worked early mornings on Exmoor.

And I was so self-centred that I didn’t even comment on your photos. I love the depth of focus you employed to frame your misty landscapes.

I was tempted not to enter due to your sentiments of preferring dogs to cats (How can you?!) but since the theme of the challenge is partly due to me I couldn’t very well cop out … Although I didn’t think of writing a poem myself when I suggested the idea but rather meant illustrating an existing poem. Ahh well … so I did both: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2019/09/23/mist-memories/

Aha, my mistake, (the poem thing, not the dog/cat thing) but it provided a nice challenge anyway, thank you.
