There’s a special announcement attached to today’s prompt for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, but we’ll get to that in good time, first it’s time for your weekly inspiration.
I’ve chosen the theme this week and I thought I’d pick one to go with the (hopefully) nice weather we’ve been promised over the weekend, just in case it’s the last chance we get; The end of summer.
So see if you can catch some fading blooms, atmospheric sunsets or warmly lit ritual scenes to illustrate the changing of the seasons to beautify Monday’s post.
And now it’s time to enlist all y’all’s help in coming up with next week’s prompt!
Yes, K’lee and I are opening up the field for any of you, our lovely contributors, to suggest a theme for a week today; so see what you can come up with and the two of us will pick our favourite (K’lee, we could discuss our choice via Twitter…?) and set that for next week’s challenge.
If it’s a successful feature, we’re hoping to do this once a month, so everyone should get a chance to pick their own ideas.
Please feel free to leave your suggestions on this post or Monday’s, here or over at K’lee’s place, we’re eager to see what you think up.
To get involved with the challenge, post a photo to your blog on Monday, (or just, you know, whenever) add a pingback to this post (or to K’lee’s) and don’t forget to tag your post #CosPhoChal.
Alternatively, add a link to your blog in the comments of either mine or K’lee’s post and we’ll come and check out your entry.
Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.
