K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge

Our prompt for this week’s K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge was provided by K’lee and he chose the theme; Outer Cold, Inner Warmth: The Comforts in Your Life.

They say that a single picture can paint a thousand words and as soon as I saw K’lee’s prompt one particular photo immediately sprang to mind.

It’s from five years ago and it isn’t clever or spectacular, but it sums up all the elements of the theme rather nicely.

A much younger Audrey, one of the biggest comforts in our life, sitting out in the cold, all bundled up by the warmth of a fire.

You can cozy up to K’lee’s post HERE.

Now warm the cockles of our hearts with your contributions…

For the second K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge of the year, K’lee takes the reins and has provided us with the theme; Outer Cold, Inner Warmth: The Comforts in Your Life.

A very apposite suggestion for this wet and windy weekend, so show us something cosy and comforting to begin the new week.

It’s Friday…isn’t it?…I think it’s Friday, it’s getting hard to tell without any meaningful routine to remind me where we are.

But it’s back to normal on Monday, when we shall be indulging in the first K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge of the year, the prompt for which is my responsibility and I have chosen to start off easy, with; Welcome to the ’20s.

So you can show us how you saw in the new decade, (I just know some of you must have some lovely firework shots) or come up with your own spin on the theme, as always it’s up to you.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Welcome to the final K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge of 2019, where we are once again showcasing some of our favourite shots of the year, as per K’lee’s suggestion at the weekend.

Here, in no particular order of preference, are a selection of images which caught my eye as I scrolled through twelve months worth of photos this morning.

Have a wonderful New Year celebration, whatever you’re doing and we’ll see you back here for more challenges in the coming decade.

See the best of K’lee’s best HERE later.

Now it’s over to you.

We’ve almost made it to the end of another solar rotation folks, so it’s time for the last edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge of 2019.

K’lee has given us one more opportunity to share images that sum up our year, or maybe it’s just that one special shot that stands out in the memory, the choice is yours.

You’ve all come up with some beautiful pictures over the last twelve months and we’re looking forward to seeing what your 2020 vision will be, so keep up the good work.

For today’s prompt on K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge it’s finally time to get festive, as I am asking you all to; Show us your Christmas.

Since most of us will be on a break from work, we’re going to give you all week to post your photos and let us in on your festivities in whatever way you like.

So however you celebrate in your part of the world, have a wonderful yuletide season and we’ll see you on the other side.

Merry Christmas to one and all!

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

K’lee’s prompt for this week’s K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge insisted that we; Colour my world and I am fairly sure that he’s a big fan of blues, so I plundered the archives for some examples of my bluest images and reworked a couple, too.

You’ll see K’lee’s true colours HERE later.

Now it’s time for your colourful contributions…

Cosmic Photo prompt.

K’lee has chosen the theme for this weeks edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, so your mission (should you decide to accept it) for the weekend is as follows; Colour my world.

That’s right, pick a colour (or colours) which somehow inform, inspire or improve your existence and place them centre stage for Monday’s post.

It’s as simple as that.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Ah, the nights are drawing in earlier and the prompts are getting posted later, it must be nearly Christmas on K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, but we haven’t reached the festive photos just yet.

Although, come to think of it, this is traditionally the time of year for retrospectives and “best of” compilations, so let’s jump on that bandwagon for today’s theme.

I’m setting the prompt for Monday’s post as; Showcase yourself.

Show us the best of your best; whether it’s a favourite photo of 2019, an image you’ve always been especially proud of, the result of trying a new editing technique, or just a picture you’ve never had an excuse to post before.

Give us a gallery of excellence to start next week and let us see something amazing, it’s as easy as…well, you know the drill.
