K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Hello and welcome to a later than usual edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, as I didn’t have time to post until now, having been at work since 6a.m.

Anyway, it was K’lee’s turn to choose the theme this week and he picked; Light.

I was inspired by a chance alignment of sunshine, fence panel and ornamental candle holder while sitting in the garden yesterday; when I spotted a beam of light coming through a slot in the wooden slats.

As the sun dropped lower in the sky over the afternoon, the beam struck the glass cover of a ground torch…

…and after an hour or so, it began to form a line around the tapered glass.

It soon became clear that the line was going to encircle the cover, so I kept a close watch…

…until it reached a kind of garden-based solar totality.

You can see what K’lee has to enlighten us with, HERE.

But now it’s time to shine the spotlight on you…

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Another new week is met with a new edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, using K’lee’s prompt from Friday for our theme; The Stillness and the Light.

Nothing came to mind at first, then I remembered this early morning shot of an old oak tree in the misty silence of a February sunrise and I think it fits the bill nicely.

K’lee shows us his HERE, so now it’s time for you to show us yours.
