On The Cosmic Photo Challenge today, we’re; On the coast, or at least immediately adjacent to it in my case.
My intention was to be up early and arrive at any one of several nearby beaches before the hoards of newly-freed Grockles descended for the day, but I didn’t get up in time so I went to Wrafton instead.
A small tributary of the river Taw, the river Caen runs through Braunton and Wrafton is where it joins the Taw estuary before flowing out to sea. The tide was out when I visited, boats stranded on the mud in the baking sunshine, but walking along the Tarka Trail to the riverbank was very pleasant nonetheless.

How was your weekend, what did you capture for us from life on the edge..?
