Although today’s alternative definition sounds like it could refer to this unlikely fashion trend, I have chosen to go for the one I thought of first;
“Bumbling” – Jewellery for tramps.

I confess to being a little short of inspiration for this week’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, despite K’lee’s excellent prompt; Architecture digestif.
In the end I created a couple more imaginary buildings, made from a selection of the architectural styles around Barnstaple.

K’lee has constructed his post for you HERE.
Now it’s your turn to build on his prompt…

To get involved with the challenge, post a photo to your blog on Monday, (or just, you know, whenever) add a pingback to this post (or to K’lee’s) and don’t forget to tag your post #CosPhoChal.
Alternatively, add a link to your blog in the comments of either mine or K’lee’s post and we’ll come and check out your entry.
Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.

K’lee is at the controls this week, dictating the theme for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge by providing us with this unique prompt; Architecture digestif.
So find a strong foundation for Monday’s post and build yourself a photographic edifice to amaze and astound us all at the start of the week.
Here’s how you take part…

Today’s alternative definition is my favourite kind. In other words, it’s a really terrible, incredibly contrived pun, which has no bearing whatsoever on the word being defined;
“Photosynthesis” – The manufacture of prosthetic podiatric digits.

For today’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge we are looking for optical repetition of some sort, prompted as we are by my theme of; Reflections.
I resisted the temptation to use editing tools to produce the required mirroring this time and used…yes, you guessed it, actual mirrors.
I produced a few images, some of which I think have an almost sci-fi feel to them, using a large wall mirror and a small pivoting one on a stand, (with a little digital mucking about for added effect) see what you think…

See how much of reflective mood K’lee is in HERE.
Now you can show us how you did this week, it’s easy, just follow these few simple steps…

It’s my turn to give a prod to your creativity this week on K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, which I have chosen to do by recycling a previous prompt; Reflections.
So find yourself something shiny or shimmering to capture a photographic facsimile in for Monday’s big reveal and start the week in a reflective mood.

A bit late, but the right day for one liner Wednesday, which is something. Today’s alternative definition is a simple one;
“Maritime” – Wedding day.

Today’s bank holiday edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge is brought to you by K’lee’s prompt of; Colour me cosmic.
I decided that our outing with Biff, an old friend who visited for Audrey’s birthday, would make a fine and colourful subject for the challenge, because we went to the Gnome Reserve.
This charming place is a labour of love, created and run by an equally charming and slightly eccentric lady called Ann Fawcett Atkin, who has been providing a sanctuary for gnomes from all over the world for 40 years.
She is an accomplished artist and gardener, with her artworks on sale in the house, from where you collect your gnome hat before touring the reserve (so as not to make the residents uncomfortable) and where you can also buy a traditional Devon cream tea, freshly made sandwiches and local ice cream.
So we donned our colourful hats…

…and set off into the woods.

See K’lee unfurl his colours HERE.
Now let’s see what part of the spectrum you’ve chosen to highlight for us…

Yes, yes, I know, but I have a good excuse for being late with this week’s prompt, honest I do; it was Audrey’s birthday yesterday, we have a friend and his dog visiting and I had to take our previous American visitor to the airport at stupid o’clock in the morning.
But I’m here now and K’lee has set the theme for tomorrow; Colour me cosmic, so get out there and capture some bright and beautiful snaps for us.

Today’s alternative definition is another misspelled culinary term;
“Borax” – A specialist butchery utensil.
