Cosmic Photo prompt.

K’lee is at the helm for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge this week, so I had to wait until he posted last night, hence the late prompt.

But I now have your mission, should you decide to accept it and, depending on your local weather, it’s a good one; Under the Harvest Moon.

As simple (or not) as that.

Just provide us with some lunar loveliness for Monday’s post and you will have completed your Cosmic Challenge for the week.

Rooms and pathways: An Autumn walk at RHS Rosemoor.

A tour of one of England’s finest gardens, reposted from my photography blog, Photo Sans Frontiers.

{So please click the link and check out the photos, as I’m trying to save space by posting picture heavy posts over there, thanks}

Having a week off work in October and a sunny day at the same time, well that was too good an opportunity to pass up; so today Rhonda and I took advantage of a free entry offer at RHS Rosemoor and, of course, I took plenty of photos.

The large, sprawling gardens are cleverly laid out in a series of themed spaces, obscured from each other by the use of hedges, trees and hard landscaping, using the curves and perspective of connecting paths to draw your eye onward to the next horticultural treat.

There’s something for every gardening taste; formal rose gardens and the geometric precision of tightly clipped fir hedges; vibrant colours of the hot garden and a glorious mixture of textures in the foliage garden; the walled kitchen garden and fragrant delights of the herb garden and, my personal favourite, the lush and beautiful lake area, with its…

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Apologies for the late post, I’m on holiday this week and had no reason to get up early.

But I haven’t been idle; I went for a bracing, autumnal walk in the park his morning, to capture some images for today’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, the theme of which is; Autumn.

K’lee’s post is HERE, (sorry it’s late) but now let’s see what you found amongst the leaves.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Friday is finally here, which means it’s time for your weekly prompt for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, this week chosen by me.

There has been a definite seasonal change in the weather this week, so I’m going with the obvious theme; Autumn.

I don’t think that requires a lot of explanation, but feel free to interpret it in any way you like for Monday’s post.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Another new week is met with a new edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, using K’lee’s prompt from Friday for our theme; The Stillness and the Light.

Nothing came to mind at first, then I remembered this early morning shot of an old oak tree in the misty silence of a February sunrise and I think it fits the bill nicely.

K’lee shows us his HERE, so now it’s time for you to show us yours.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Ok, it’s another late one, because I had to wait for K’lee to post before I knew what the theme was, (that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it) but I’m here now and I bring news of this week’s prompt for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

K’lee has chosen one of his more enigmatic suggestions and gone with; The Stillness and the Light, which you can of course interpret any way you see fit.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Time for your Monday dose of photography, with K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, which I decided was going to be about; Fungi.

The days are already getting damper and darker earlier, perfect conditions for some of the more peculiar and bizarre of our local flora to thrive. Here are a few I captured, in all their alien-like glory.

You can see what K’lee brings to the party HERE, but now you can show us what fun-guys you really are…

Cosmic Photo prompt.

It’s Friday, so it’s time to give you your prompt for next edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

The English “summer” continues to provide us with a constant supply of moisture which, if nothing else, makes the mushrooms and toadstools happy. I thought I’d use that to our advantage and make this week’s theme; Fungi, so get out in the woods, take a walk in the fields or scour the damp corners of your garden and we’ll have some photogenic fungal fun in Monday’s post.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Good morning and welcome to another week, starting with your Monday dose of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, today with a theme chosen by K’lee.

Now, his prompt was pretty enigmatic; A Clockwork’d Orange, meaning I had to stretch to find something apposite to post, but I think I found a little gem from the archives to meet the brief.

First of all, going with the most obvious inspiration, some photos that feature the colour orange…

…followed by the “Clockwork’d” part of the deal, hmm…

How about this little clip I made a few years ago, called Satsuma Rescue?

Ok, it’s not clockwork, exactly, but it’s stop motion and that has a similar feel, doesn’t it?

Anyway, see what you think.

(You may need to watch it twice, but keep your eye on the little fella, he’s going to give the final stranded piece of fruit a helping hand back into the bowl)

After you’ve looked at K’lee’s post, which is HERE when he’s ready, show us how you interpreted his mysterious prompt with your own offerings.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Ok, it’s time for your weekly nudge in the direction of Monday’s K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, which is themed by K’lee today (oh alright, yesterday) and he’s come up with a very esoteric prompt; A Clockwork’d Orange.

Now, I know what you’re thinking, you’re thinking “What the…?” but that’s just the way we like it, here at the cosmic photo challenge, we like something that makes you think.

So get your thinking caps on, keep your eye out for inspiration this weekend and wow us with your artistic interpretation on Monday morning.
