Cosmic Photo prompt.

I can honestly say the late prompt isn’t because of my memory this week, as K’lee is the one who brings us K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge today and he didn’t post his suggestion until this afternoon.

What he did post, however, makes up for its late arrival by being extra enigmatic; Double the expression through double exposure.

So it’s double vision on Monday morning (but this time, on purpose) and I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

It was only after I set the prompt for this week’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge that I realised; I wasn’t quite so spoilt for choice as I’d originally thought, when it came to finding examples of The onset of autumn.

I like to create something original whenever I can, without trawling the archives too much, (even though I did feature the same trees in a previous post) so I made a new piece of art, too.

These sycamore trees are just beginning to get their dramatic red plumage…

…and this handful of leaves from the garden…

…was transformed into a work of autumnal art.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Today’s theme on K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge was chosen by K’lee and his prompt was perfect for me, as I have a huge number of pictures which fit the description of; Wings across the skies.

The weekend weather was so utterly lousy; any suitably avian subjects were probably trying to find a perch to cling onto, far too busy to pose for photos.

So I picked a couple of archive images which I liked and made an “artistic” one, too. See what you think.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Apologies for the slightly tardy prompt, K’lee didn’t post the theme for Monday’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge until last night and I’ve been at work since stupid o’clock this morning.

But now I’m here, I’ll tell you that K’lee decided on; Wings across the skies.

That seems to be a fairly straightforward one for a change, so get out there and capture some avian or aviator-based snaps to start the week.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

We are getting in amongst the undergrowth for this week’s K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, since I set the theme of Creepy Crawlies on Friday, encouraging y’all to get some entomological specimens for us to study.

I saw a spider and a fly, dangerously close together on a clematis in the garden…

…but I had more success with our newly blooming pink sedum, where I got a few nice shots of a busy honey bee and a tiny hover fly, to which I added a few from the archives; a lily beetle, a fearsome looking scorpion and the impressive but harmless hornet moth.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

This week on K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, as my turn to set the theme rolls around again, it’s time to get close up and personal with; Creepy crawlies.

All insects, invertebrates and arachnids are fair game, along with any other creeping or crawling critters you can lay your lens on over the weekend.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

When K’lee set the theme for today’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, I thought I was going to be a bit stumped, because he gave us the prompt; Get your motors running; Cool cars that caught your eye.

Now I’m not really a car person, so it left me at a loss for inspiration, so I cheated.

I used cars you can’t see.

I have done experiments with cars and light painting before, but this time I’ve added a little movement to the process.

I went out and took a few long exposure shots of passing traffic; some from parked at the side of the road, some from looking down on the lights, standing on a bridge and a couple with the camera lying on the dashboard as I drove home.

I also made a little gif to show the creative process in action.

I’ve actually got a few shots, taken from the ole ‘Obzervashunal Archives’ I think will fit the bill for this challenge…

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Time to get wet for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, using my prompt from Friday to direct the flow of inspiration; The look of liquid.

I had no idea what I would do with that, it just popped into my head, but I managed to capture a couple of new shots, along with a few from the archives.

Here’s two of water in the wild, so to speak…

…and a couple of digital water sculptures.

Followed by these two new shots of me splashing about in the kitchen.
