Cosmic Photo prompt.

For this week’s theme on K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, I’ve chosen something I know you will all have a chance to capture at some point over the weekend; Food.

It’s a prompt we’ve had before, I think, but there’s lots of room for culinary inspiration; so whether it’s raw or cooked, straightforward or artistic, let’s get some mouthwatering foodie photos to start the week.

You know how to do it by now…

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

K’lee set the theme for this week’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, choosing to get all architectural on us and suggesting we investigate the possibilities of the prompt; Sublimely structural.

I’m not sure if my offerings count as sublime or ridiculous, you’ll have to decide for yourselves.

I had to drop Audrey at Barnstaple’s Queen’s Theatre yesterday afternoon, where she was attending an eight hour rehearsal for the upcoming Gang Show, so while I was there I took a few photos of the theatre itself and some other buildings around town…

…then I got to work on a selection of composite images that I’m calling Imaginary Barnstaple.

You can see what K’lee has been building for us HERE.

Now you can showcase your creative outpourings, it’s easy when you know how…

Cosmic Photo prompt.

With K’lee at the wheel this week, it’s time to give you your prompt for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

He’s decided to turn his attention to the world of architecture and given you this theme to play with; Sublimely structural.

Feel free to interpret that however you wish and reconvene here on Monday to showcase your results.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

I was in control of the theme for this week’s prompt on K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge and I chose to go with a playful little idea; Toys.

Knowing I had Audrey’s huge collection of toys, dolls and stuffed animals to work with, I waiting until she was at Gang Show rehearsal yesterday and set up a makeshift darkroom in her bedroom, where I conducted a few light painting experiments with flashing lights, glowing cubes and an LED fidget spinner.

See what K’lee has been playing with HERE.

Now you can have a rummage in the toy box and play along..

Cosmic Photo prompt.

It’s my turn to set theme for this week on K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge and I’m going to give you a prompt which I think we’ve had before, but which has a lot of scope for creativity; Toys.

So whether you raid your kids’ playthings or you have big boys and girls toys to use, snap something playful for us for Monday’s post.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

The point of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge this week is clarity, since K’lee came up with the prompt; The sharpest image.

My offerings this week include a nice sharp silhouette of a very sharp point on top of an obelisk and three other shots that I feel have the visual precision to qualify for today’s theme.

See what sharpshooting K’lee has been doing HERE.

But now it’s time for you to impress us with your eye for detail.

K’lee set the theme for this week’s instalment of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge and he picked a good one, too; The sharpest image.

So select the clearest, most pin sharp picture you can and join us on Monday for our regular round up of camera captured creativity.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge

On today’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge we’re all out of focus, due to my prompt on Friday being; In a blur.

I had no particular idea in mind when I set the theme, it just popped into my head, but Audrey came to the rescue once again, by insisting (no, really, she did) that we go to the pub to play pool on Saturday. This provided me with a lovely shot of her sending the cue ball zooming down the table towards me, complete with requisite motion blurring…

Then I rifled through the archives and found a couple more that fit the bill.

K’lee will show you his unclear contribution HERE.

Now you can show us your imperfectly focused images.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

After last week’s total lack of meteorological cooperation for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, it has of course been bucketing down with rain this morning, so I’m not going to pick anything weather-dependent for the theme today.

Instead I’m going to leave it almost completely wide open and simply request that, when you are seeking photographic inspiration, you bear in mind the prompt; In a blur.

So get unfocused, get creative, or maybe you’ll just find a home for one of those shaky holiday snaps you’d forgotten you still had.

Anything is open to interpretation on the cosmic photo challenge, so why not have a go.
