For today’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, I asked you to; Guess what this is, and I’m hoping that you’ll pose us some photographic puzzles with your images this week.

I have decided to show you just the edited shots first, to see if anyone can guess what they are, then I’ll update the post later and reveal the big picture, so to speak.

(I’m posting this at 06:00 Monday, I’ll update at 18:00, that should cover most timezones, I think)

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

After some confusion on Friday about who was posting the prompt for today’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, I came up with; Leaf and bud, while K’lee finally arrived with Trip the night fantastic, so you had a choice of one, other or both of those to inspire you.

I went for my own option (mainly because I’d already taken the photos by the time K’lee posted) and captured the rapidly unfurling leaves and flowers in the short-lived sunshine of the weekend, along with a few other shots I couldn’t resist.

I’m sure K’lee will have something wonderful for you on the theme of fantastical nights, HERE.

However, it is now time to see which road you chose.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

I know, I know, I’m late again, but this time I can plead extenuating circumstances; it’s K’lee’s turn to provide the prompt this week and he has yet to post anything, so I’m going to go out on a limb and say he forgot.

Nevertheless, I will gladly step into his prompting shoes for the week and give you a substitute theme to inspire you.

As I am currently sat in the glorious sunshine in the garden, I’ll make it easy and give you; Leaf and bud to play with for the remainder of the weekend.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Welcome to K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, I trust your week has started off successfully.

I have a day off again today, because my boss was hassling me to book some holiday last week, (they get twitchy if you have too many hours left to take, in case you suddenly want to take time off when they’re busy) so I took advantage of the holiday lull after the Easter break and booked a couple of days.

None of which is especially relevant, except for the fact that it’s all about today’s prompt; Time.

I didn’t know what I’d do with this theme when I set it, it just seemed a nice broad concept to interpret with a picture and, as it happens, I am only presenting one photo for your consideration this week; my homage to the great Salvador Dali’s The Persistence of Memory.

I’m rather pleased with it and you’ll have to take my word for it that it took longer than you’d think to get it just right.

K’lee will take the time to show you the fruits of his labours HERE.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Late again, but this time with an excuse; we have had a bit of an emergency this weekend and have water pouring (well, dripping fast) through our kitchen ceiling, and we waiting for the upstairs neighbours (yes, those idiots are STILL up there) to sort out a plumber. Hopefully, since their stopcock is, for some reason, in our airing cupboard and I have cut off their supply, that should give them an incentive to get their shit together and sort it out soon.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Welcome to an extremely colourful edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, this week curated by K’lee and based around his prompt; Cosmically created colour.

I had a flash of inspiration yesterday and took some photos of Audrey’s sand sculptures…

…along with some family portraits; then superimposed the latter over the former and carefully erased all the exposed skin, resulting in these brightly coloured and slightly surreal images.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Hello everyone, I hope you’re enjoying a pleasant bank holiday Monday (if you get one, that is) or are at least having a successful start to the working week.

I set the theme for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge this week and I decided to go for the obvious topical prompt, with a monochromatic twist; Easter in black and white.

For today’s challenge, Audrey wanted to get involved, only fair when you realise it was her Easter gifts that are the stars of the post.

So here are a couple of shots from yesterday’s celebrations, with Audrey providing the peculiar facial poses (I think the second one is a rabbit impression, to match the chocolate truffle carrots she had for breakfast)…

…along with these two little clips (yes I know, they’re in colour, sorry) we made using the STIKBOT figures and app which Audrey got for Easter.

Oh, it’s Saturday! Blimey, where did the week go? I think working overtime when everyone else had finished for the the holiday has fried my internal calendar, I’d completely forgotten about the prompt for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge on Monday.

But I got here eventually and your theme for this week is; Black and white Easter.

Hmmm, interesting, yes?

I don’t know, it just came to me in a monochromatic flash of inspiration, so I’m starting from scratch on this one, too.
