K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge

My suggestion for this week’s K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge was for you to find us some pictures that are; Spooky.

It was Halloween not long ago, so Audrey and I bought some window stickers for the living room and she posed with them to produce this rather disturbing image…

…which I have supplemented with these two creepy manipulated shots of me as a strange hooded figure.

See if K’lee manages to creep you out HERE.

Now it’s your turn to give us the shivers.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

I’m in the driving seat for this week’s K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, with a theme that is only slightly out of date, since Halloween was last week; Spooky.

So go and look for some spine tingling images to creep us out with in Monday’s post, it’s so easy to do…

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Today’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge is brought to you by K’lee and his prompt; Autumn leaves/autumn light.

I chose to go with a straightforward approach this week and took a stroll round the park with Audrey, (who did her best tree impression) capturing a rather damp Sunday morning along the river.

Take a leaf out of K’lee’s book HERE.

Now let’s see your seasonal offerings.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Another wet and windy weekend brings another prompt for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, this week provided by K’lee, who has chosen; Autumn leaves/autumn light.

So get your snapping caps on and give us something autumnal to gaze upon at the start of the week.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

I’d like to think my resigned prompt for this week’s K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge was the catalyst for an unexpected change in the weather yesterday, but I admit it’s unlikely.

As a reaction to a wet and windy week, my theme on Friday was; Sun, sea and sand, which I planned to illustrate with some of the many suitable photos I have in my archives.

Imagine my surprise, then, when I woke up yesterday morning to a bright and beautiful, sunny Autumn day. Just the kind of day for a walk on the beach in fact.

So Audrey and I went for a highly enjoyable stroll along Instow beach and harbour front at low tide.

And if you click on this final photo, you can take one of those fancy 360° panorama tours of the harbour.

Bathe in the light of K’lee’s sunny disposition HERE later.

Now let’s see if you had any luck with the weather round your way.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

It’s my turn at the helm of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge this week and, on this wet and windy Saturday afternoon, I think we could all do with some sunshine in our lives, so I’m choosing the unseasonal prompt of; Sun, sea and sand.

I know, call me contrary, but who wants to go out in that to take photos?

So plunder your archives, fly to sunnier climes, or maybe you actually live somewhere it isn’t raining already, and provide us with some rays to bathe in on Monday.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Hello and welcome to the start of a brand new week which, as ever, means another foray into the optical playground we call K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

This week our adventure is hosted by my transatlantic pal, K’lee, who gave us the creative prod of (to give it its full name); Cosmically circular/cosmically square.

I decided I would create a one-off digital artwork to meet K’lee’s brief, using this ordinary photo of the square tiles in our kitchen.

But that turned into two when, after a considerable amount of mucking about, I produced this rather fetching abstract image…

…which eventually morphed into this extremely cosmic masterpiece.

K’lee will put his round photographic peg in a square post HERE.

But for now it’s time for you to show us your curves and angles…

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

I set this week’s theme for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, choosing to turn everything; Inside out/outside in/upside down for a change.

As usual, I plucked that out of the air with no real clue what to do with it…until yesterday morning while I was sitting in the small garden shed that serves as a shelter from the rain, listening to the birds and drinking my first coffee of the day.

It occurred to me that I was sitting inside, looking into the outside and things kind of snowballed from there.

I took several photos of doorways; from the entrance and stairway of our building, to our front door, the kitchen, living room, bathroom and even my car.

Then I spent an entertaining hour or so, switching the view from each door, like something out of a pan-dimensional sci-fi story.

Here are the original shots…

…and these are the alternate universe versions:

See which way up K’lee wanted to go HERE.

Now you can flip us some snaps of your own.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

I do believe it’s my turn to provide the weekly inspiration for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, so I will do just that by leaving you with the prompt; Inside out/outside in/upside down.

Use one, some or all three of those suggestions to inform your Monday post and we’ll see what you come up with to start the week.
