Ooh, blimey, I almost forgot it was Wednesday.
Ok, here’s a quick alternative definition for you, better late than never;
“Impact” – Pretending to be a pixie.

Another week is upon us, meaning it’s time for another episode in the continuing saga of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, this week chaired by K’lee, who left us this multifaceted prompt; The beauty of wood, the gleam of metal and the reflection of glass.
That was quite a head-scratcher, I can tell you, at least it was until yesterday afternoon, when I spotted the perfect candidate for the metal and glass portion of the challenge; a copper window decoration with a blue glass ball in the centre, given to me by my sister many years ago.

And for the wooden element?
Well, Audrey and I went down to the park after lunch, where I found plenty of inspiration in the varying textures of tree bark and a nicely weathered fence post.

And to round off this post of threes, here is my third offering, a gif of my sister’s gift, a gift-gif, if you will.

You can see K’lee’s intriguing trio HERE.
But now it’s your turn to show us how you rose to the 3 in 1 challenge…

This weekend’s prompt for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge is brought to you by K’lee and he’s gone for a trilogy of themes from past challenges; The beauty of wood, the gleam of metal and the reflection of glass.
So let’s see what you come up with on Monday, after a weekend of photographic inspiration.

Today’s entry in the alternative dictionary is one which follows the same logic as a previous submission, but in a different medium;
“Eclipse” – Digital videos.

I set the theme for today’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, knowing that I was getting up early for work yesterday and hoping I could capture something to do justice to the prompt; Break of day.
Well I wasn’t disappointed, because there was some suitably atmospheric fog adorning the Devon countryside on my drive home; with the imposing Castle Hill house and gardens, (Fortescue family seat, currently home to Lady Arran) providing a dramatic landmark amongst the rolling hills and ancient trees.

It certainly is worth getting up early sometimes, when the world is still waking up, you get to witness nature at its best.
See what K’lee has in store HERE.
Now it’s time for you early birds to show us what photographic worms you caught for us…

Late as usual, here’s the weekly prompt for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, tying in to one from a few weeks ago, when I asked for shots from the tail end of your day.
This time we’re going to get an early start, because the theme this week is; Break of day.
You know what to do, so let’s see your daybreak photos on Monday.

This week’s one liner is the antithesis of a romantic Valentine alternate definition, but it’s the one that occurred to me this morning, so that’s what you’re getting.
Today’s misspelled misnomer is;
“Extol” – The cost of a previous relationship.

Only two days to go, so you’d better get out and buy your significant other a card, some chocolates and/or some flowers, because Valentine’s Day is almost upon us.
Which explains the theme to today’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, set this week by K’lee, romantic fool that he is; The look of love.
It really didn’t take me any time at all to decide on the photo to use, since it so precisely meets the brief; an edited version of a blissful selfie of Rhonda and I, the day we first met in person, back in 2014. Along with a shot of Rhonda and Audrey having a thumb war, where their expressions speak for themselves.

K’lee will show you some love HERE and it’s a multimedia extravaganza, let me tell you.
Now we want to see what elicits the look of love from you…

K’lee has chosen the theme for this week’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, going with the most topical prompt, to tie in with the upcoming Valentine’s day celebrations; The look of love.
Now, I’ve already thought of at least one photo to use, but I shall still be seeking further inspiration over the weekend.
You can show us what you came up with on Monday and join in with the photographic love-in.

I’m not sure what’s going on this week, I spent most of yesterday thinking it was Wednesday and for some reason I forgot that it was actually Wednesday today.
Anyway, here’s another alternative definition for you, this one probably falls into the “only funny in my head” category, but that’s just luck of the draw;
“Rudimentary” – A factual TV show about the adult entertainment industry.
