K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

22 May

Good afternoon, I’m sorry to be so late posting, but we’re in the middle of moving house and I was also up until 4.30 this morning watching the long-awaited Return of Twin Peaks, so I’m a bit behind.

K’lee set the prompt this week and he wanted us to give him variations on a theme of; Picture in a frame.

Well, I’ll be honest, my post was only ever going to be based on one thing this week, so I got artistic and Rhonda got culinary, and I came up with this Peaks-inspired still life, framed by my own version of the famous red drapes, with a hand drawn Red Room floor.

May I present to you, a damn fine cherry pie, complete with Owl Cave petroglyph design on the crust…

…along with this black and white version..

…and a couple of little gifs I made while I waited for the wonderful strangeness to begin;

So there you have it., now it’s your turn.

K’lee’s post for today is linked HERE, go over and check it out.

To get involved with the challenge, post a photo to your blog on Monday, add a pingback to this post (or to K’lee’s) and don’t forget to tag your post #CosPhoChal.

Alternatively, add a link to your blog in the comments of either mine or K’lee’s post and we’ll come and check out your entry.
Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.

    Fantastic! I was just having a conversation with my friend Derek on the return of ‘Twin Peaks’. Great job.
