One liner Wednesday: Alternative dictionary…

10 May

This alternative definition was rattling around in my head when I woke up this morning, I’m not sure why, so I’ve got to use it or it will become the linguistic equivalent of an earworm;

“Chronological” – Deductive reasoning of cackling old women.

    I may need some help with this one. I can work out a few things, but I fear I’m missing the obvious 😦

      I’m sorry, that’s the trouble with these brainworms, sometimes they’re rather cryptic once they escape the confines of my head.

      “Crone”- logical.

      Just me again, I’ll get my coat…

        Yes! – That works. Not where I was headed, but I like it. I even like the fact that you made me think and kinda stumped me.

      Yeah, this is a bit of a divisive one, etymologically speaking, I can only apologise

    I’m going to think: wise old women. I wonder why cackling has a negative connotation. Maybe those old fairy tales. But it did make me chuckle. πŸ™‚ It’s very clever!
