K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

06 Mar

Good morning/afternoon/evening to you, wherever you may be. This Monday’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge is brought to you by my choice of prompt; Sparkle.

I hoped to capture the sunlight, gently glittering on the greeny blue waters of the river Taw on my stroll around the park yesterday; but the sun wasn’t at its brightest and and the river was rather muddy after the night’s rain, so the glittering was somewhat muted.

I did get one shot worth mucking about with, however, to which I have added a close up of the glitter on Rhonda’s Valentine card, along with a photo of a slightly more sparkly day by the river.

Not my finest work, I’ll be the first to admit, but I can only work with what I’ve got. I’m sure K’lee will provide you with something suitably fabulous later.

Now, let’s see what you captured for us…

To get involved with the challenge, post a photo to your blog on Monday, add a pingback to this post (or to K’lee’s) and don’t forget to tag your post #CosPhoChal.

Alternatively, add a link to your blog in the comments of either mine or K’lee’s post and we’ll come and check out your entry.

Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.

I liked the close up of the glitter best, perhaps because of the purple colour, which is my favourite. I recently took some nature photographs when I’d visited a local park with friends, but they’re nowhere near professional, lol. The other two photos reminded me of that day. 🙂

Well I hope we can come up with a challenge that will persuade you to take part one day…

I always think my photos are not good enough. I tried taking a few with my phone camera (13 MP), but I think they’re only okay. And also that I choose such plain subjects that photos of it exist in thousands around the Internet. Do you have a cure for that? 😂

Lie down, stand on a chair, look through a hole; you’d be amazed at the way a new perspective can make your photos interesting.

It is the best of the bunch, it’s just a pity I couldn’t get one that good at the weekend.

Same here, then it didn’t, then it did, then it didn’t, then it did…

These are very nice! The last one is my favorite. Looks like a time of day I’d be out pointing my camera.
