K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

27 Feb

A new week dawns and a new installment of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge awaits, this time with a theme set by K’lee; Gimme the Night.

Well, since I posted the prompt on Saturday morning there have been two wet, cloudy and miserable nights, neither of which were much use to me, photographically speaking, so I’ve had to pick a couple of shots from the archives. I didn’t have too many to choose from, (I know the limitations of smartphone photography) but I found a couple that fit the bill.

The first was taken at Appledore two weeks ago and the second is of the stage at Chagstock festival a few years ago, with a hazy moon overhead and the mighty Boomtown Rats in full swing.

K’lee’s post is now HERE for your viewing pleasure.

Maybe you had more luck than I did capturing the night this weekend, so let’s see what you have for us…

To get involved with the challenge, post a photo to your blog on Monday, add a pingback to this post (or to K’lee’s) and don’t forget to tag your post #CosPhoChal.

Alternatively, add a link to your blog in the comments of either mine or K’lee’s post and we’ll come and check out your entry.
Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Fantastic and sublime, dude. Really like that first shot. It reminds me of San Francisco Bay at night from a very special locale I rarely get to visit. I’m finally on the board after another crazy Monday. At least the rain’s stopped!
