Today’s alternative definition occurred to me just too late to be topical;

“Fidelity” – Staying faithful to one dictator.

    Castrol – the lubricant used by said dictator, which also proves one’s dedication.
    It’s way past my bed time. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.

      I do like a good pun thread. I was on a Facebook comment thread once that went on for several hours with just fish puns.

    I like this take! Fidelity, which is usually considered a positive traur can be very negative 🙂

        Yeah, although you wouldn’t think so, given the outpouring of (apparently) genuine grief from the people he dictated to.

        I’m slow, just realised you were referring to Castro! I was taking it in general i.e. excessive fidelity to whatever can be stubborn, narrow minded or even harmful to yourself and others.
