K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

02 Jan

Hello there, happy new year to you all, on this final day before I have to return to work (my sympathy to those of you who are already back in harness) and welcome to the first post of 2017 in K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

This week’s challenge, set by K’lee, is especially apposite, given the symbolic renewal inherent in the ushering in of a new year; Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.

Now I’m assuming that, unless you invented time travel over the Christmas holidays, none of you have managed to get any photos of tomorrow, but I’ve stuck as closely to the brief as the laws of physics allow.

I’ve taken three photos of the same tree; one on Friday afternoon (broken cloud, blue sky), one on Saturday night (dark, obviously) and one yesterday morning, (misty, grey sky) all of which I’ve layered over each other in different directions, giving the following results…

…and if that isn’t enough for you, here’s the remix:

Pretty good, huh?

K’lee’s post for the day is HERE, but now let’s see what you came up with…

*****

To get involved with the challenge, post a photo to your blog on Monday, add a pingback to this post (or to K’lee’s) and don’t forget to tag your post #CosPhoChal.

Alternatively, add a link to your blog in the comments of either mine or K’lee’s post and we’ll come and check out your entry.
Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Wow. Very nice and verrrry moody. Really like the concept you went with on this. Well done, my friend.

Happy new year to you and yours! Great photos. I especially liked the one layerd diagonally. Thanks for sharing!

And to you, Bee. Glad you liked them, they don’t look nearly as impressive as the amount of mucking about would suggest, but I’m pleased with the effect.

Very clever! I’m amazed you got them lined up so well. Did you not move your camera?

I just stood on the back step in the same place and lined the top of the fence up with the bottom of the frame each time.

That was such a unique take on the theme! The photos look bizarre but wonderful. 🙂 That couldn’t have been easy!

Thanks. It took a bit of careful fiddling to line all three up three times, yeah.
