One liner Wednesday: Alternative dictionary…

07 Dec

After the startling prescience of last week’s one liner, I thought I’d follow it up with;

“President elect” – Punchline to the risqué joke Mr Trump’s staff just prevented him from making, during his phone call to Taiwan.

      Try reading it in a non-pc, faux-Chinese accent…

      Was that the sound of the penny dropping, for the second time?

      Only two of you seem especially amused by this one.
      I thought it might be one of those “Ah, just me then…” posts.

        No point in worrying now, and it is the truth and it is funny 🙂 xx

        Thanks, I appreciate the support, (with a sense of humour like ours, we need it, hahaha) you are clearly a woman of some considerable discernment.

      So far, Rhonda is the only one who has pointed out it should really be; “Plesident elect”, (that’s after I had to explain the joke to her in the first place, mind you) but that sort of defeats the object of the joke, I think.

        I agree. The pronunciation would come out that way though on president. The l in elect would be an r. Have to say it was clever.

    *Thinks about it some more*

    Oh jeez. Thanks for that mental image.
