K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

18 Jul

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, but since it’s Monday again, let’s get on with K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge for this week.

K’lee’s prompt on Friday was; Shadows and silhouettes, so I’ve picked a couple of old favourites taken by the river Taw for the silhouettes and two shots of shadows cast by metal furniture on the deck of our local pub.

Here’s a link to K’lee’s images for today.
Now, let’s see what y’all have to offer..

To get involved with the challenge, post a photo to your blog on Monday, add a pingback to this post (or to K’lee’s) and don’t forget to tag your post #CosPhoChal.

Alternatively, add a link to your blog in the comments of either mine or K’lee’s post and we’ll come and check out your entry.

Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.

The first one looks like a cartoon with those eyes in between the shadows resembling a nose 🙂 I am always a big fan of Sunsets. Love your sunset photographs.

Haha, hadn’t thought of that, well spotted.

The shadow shots are fun, especially the first one without the actual chair. 🙂 The silhouettes are luscious. You make good art.

Wow. I didn’t know what you’d come with, but this is fantastic, dude! Well done.

Cheers. We get some amazing sunsets over the river and that obelisk makes a great silhouette, I’ve used it a few times.

I’m starting to think these combinations people are coming up with should be the standard. People are coming up with such great stuff, you being right at the top of this. Very nice.

Yeah, we certainly shouldn’t restrict it to any number of photos, people can post however many they like.
I’ll do a quick post later, to update the terms and conditions, so to speak.

        July 18, 2016 at 18:24

Cool. Yes, the lack of restrictions shouldn’t change, we keep it fun and just ‘suggest’ maybe?

I will reinforce the idea of using post production techniques, too. I like the idea of encouraging people who don’t generally muck about with their photos to try something a bit artistic.

Good idea. It seems the people who do answer are getting more and more creative all the time.
