More fun with light painting…

15 Feb

I’m always looking for interesting ways to create weird and wonderful images, so anytime I get a new gadget I try to find as many uses for it as possible.

Here’s the latest batch of oddities I put together with my new toy.

Photo Sans Frontiers

I tried a different, more ghostly effect with the light painting app on my camera last night.
I built up these composite images by simply using a torch to illuminate myself against the background of a darkened room and I really like the effect.

I shall continue to experiment with the technique, but see what you think of my first few attempts at making phantoms of myself.

    That is really cool, Dale. I can imagine that used for book covers, especially psychological thrillers.
    Have a wonderful new week.

      Thanks Teagan. Well, if you want a cover done, you know where to come. ;~}

    Reminds me of a Queen album cover. They look great.

      Um, thanks, I think.
      I’ll take the second part of your comment and pretend I didn’t read the first part, if that’s ok with you. ;~}

        The first part was a good thing but that’s okay with me.

      I’m trying to think of other ways of using it, I’m sure there’s still lots of cool stuff I can do with it yet.
