Camera obscure…

08 Feb

Among the various types of digital fiddling I occasionally engage in with my photographs, one of the most interesting I’ve experimented with so far is layering or overlaying several photos to form abstract or fantasy tinged images.

Here are my three favourites so far, I’d love to know what you think.

My first attempt;

Getting more adventurous;

And my latest masterpiece:

All three are composed entirely of, or created from, photos I took myself.

None of them have titles as yet.

I personally think the third one would make a great poster and I may well try getting it printed in large format to find out.

    Great job! I personally liked the 2nd one best. I could relate to it more than the third. They are all amazing. Yes, continue to do more. You are now an artist with a unique style!

      Hahaha, I’m not sure about that, but thank you, I’m glad you liked them.

    I like the first one best, that third eye is scary πŸ™‚

      Hahaha, it is a bit odd, but the mixture appeals to me.

    I like both first and second. Well done, Dale!

      Cheers. I find the ladies like the more “romantic” two and gents prefer the weirder one.

    Yes! These are great- I like the first and third best. I hope you try some really psychedelic pictures in the future.

    They’re interesting, Dale, and fun to play with, I guess πŸ™‚ So clever what you can do if you’ve a mind. Back to your 50 shades πŸ™‚

      Thanks Jo, it’s my latest fad. I’ve produced some quite bizarre ones using body parts. Not sure if they’re to everyone’s taste, but I expect they’ll find their way on here soon enough.

      Be afraid, be very afraid…
