See (the) Hawks…

02 Feb

Well, it was close, (as far as I could tell anyway) so I’m going to honour my deal and model my lovely Seahawks top for you, as agreed with Rhonda’s cousin, who sent it to me for Christmas.

And because they’re the team I would almost certainly adopt if I cared even slightly about football, of course.

Mainly that, in fact.

Plus, (as if that wasn’t enough) a consolation prize.
In the form of some more music from my collection, this time one of my hundreds of cassettes, (I’m not, in all honesty, expecting this to make up for anything, or for it to mean much to your average Seahawks fan either, but you know how I like a tenuous link, and any excuse is a good excuse) so here it is; Sea King“, a classic from psyche-rock overlords, Hawkwind.

You see what I did there..?

We were cheering for the Seahawks all the way! Felt that the Patriots did a bit of cheating, and the gambler fix was in! Boo hoo.

That appears to be the general consensus, but I’m staying out of it, I have nothing to add to the conversation, hahaha.

Nice hoodie! I’m not a football person either but Dean and I really warmed to the Seahawks over the past two seasons. They’re a young, exciting team… and Wilson’s an LGBT supporter. Extra cool points.

Well that’s just doubled my knowledge of American Football, thanks.

Lookin’ good in that Seahawks hoodie, Dale! Yay that you and Rhonda were for the Seahawks, we were rooting for the Seahawks too. Yes, they were close, very close, and still cannot believe what happened at the end! Welcome to American Football. Good tune from Hawkwind, nice touch with that “Sea” and “Hawk” there.
