A Christmas caard from Nobody…

24 Dec

Having just completed the marathon blogging session that was the Tenuous Lynx, I had a nagging feeling that I should have been doing something yesterday, so conditioned was I to posting every day.
But no, the need for continual mental contortion is now over.

However, we are about to enter the limbo that is the Christmas holiday break and that means lots of spare time with no money to spend and nothing to do but decorating, (that’s the painting sort, not tinsel) so don’t expect too much of a break from me, blogging is free after all.

But today I’m just here to pass on a seasonal token of thanks for your continued support and readership.

A couple of weeks ago I asked Ho to use his imagination to design me an exclusive Diary of an Internet Nobody Christmas card and as usual he has done me proud.

So here it is, inspired by one of my more random posts from last year, something to print off and place on your festive mantlepiece.

Here’s hoping you all enjoy whatever celebrations you have planned and may your hangovers be mild and short-lived.

All the best from me, Ho and Elaine, and thanks again to anyone who has contributed to the blog in the last twelve months.

Don’t forget to put some ants out for Santaardvark.

Seasons greetings to you and all your readers Dale, many thanks for a year of top-notch bloggage, including the cornucopia of lynx ! I’ve been thoroughly entertained and impressed by the diversity of rants and musings. Here’s to a 2014 of further excellent diaristic diversions.

Hey Dale, even though I didn’t comment on your previous Tenuous Lynx post, I read them through my reader all last week and thoroughly enjoyed them. And I applaud you for all the effort you put forth putting them together. They were faaaaaaabulous!

Wishing you and Elaine a very Merry Christmas tomorrow!

I’m going to hang out at home and spend a very quiet day, relaxing, watching movies, and just chillin’ after my long week in retail.

    Cheers, buddy!

P.S. Love the graphic by Ho!

Thanks Ron. Compliments of the season to you too. Glad you liked the lynx posts, it was great fun doing them. Ps – I’m guessing you’re using the term “graphic” as a generic description, but to save any confusion I should point out that all Ho’s artwork is drawn and coloured by hand. Pps – Thanks for your card. Sadly I couldn’t view it in all its glory due to some sort of “Flash error”

Not too bad thanks. Went for a quick drink at lunchtime, big dinner and more drinking. Just a normal day then. Hope you have a good new year.
